Game Makers

Start with the Lemur Dash game everyone loved at the fair, then learn to change it and build your own. Along the way children pick up real coding (steps, loops, and choices) and the maths hiding inside every game, and on the last day they show a game they made themselves.

What is Game Makers?

A free club where 5 to 8 year olds learn real coding and maths by making games, starting with the Lemur Dash game everyone loved at the fair.

What will my child do?

Play a game, then learn to change it: steps, loops, and choices, plus the maths hiding inside. By the end they build a tiny game of their own.

Why learn it here?

Because a child who makes a game learns coding without noticing. Real machines at the Lab, a small group, ending with your child showing you their game.

Family Showcase Day

On the last day each child shows a small game they made to their family, and takes home a certificate.

How to join, in three steps

  1. Pick a time above and reserve a seat.
  2. It is free, so your seat is held right away.
  3. Come to the Lab. We email a 6-digit code to check in.

Everything runs on the Lab machines, offline and on-device. Nothing to buy, and a grown-up gives consent at sign-up.

A parent books the seat and gives consent at sign-up.

Small group of 10. For ages 5 to 8.

Every learner finishes with a certificate anyone can verify.

Your child leaves having made a real game and picked up real coding and maths on the way. We do not promise prodigies; we promise what they build and show you on the last day.
