Mind Cup terms

• One full sitting: six challenges built to measure, not to entertain.
• A report on how this mind worked today, with a number, its honest margin, and what it means.
• A certificate with the sitting's date.
• A standing among everyone else in the same age band, once enough people have played.
• Results kept, so a later sitting can be compared with this one.

One payment buys one sitting per player. A booking may cover several players, and each gets their own six digits, their own half hour and their own report.

Fees, which the owner can change at any time and which apply to new bookings only: Sprouts (5 to 8) Rs 300 · Sparks (9 to 12) Rs 300 · Forge (13 to 15) Rs 600 · Summit (16 to 20) Rs 600 · Open (21 and up) Rs 800. Prices are in Indian rupees and are inclusive. Anyone anywhere may pay, provided they hold an Indian payment instrument.

• The top of each age band is invited, free, to the grand finale on Saturday 12 September.
• The invitation costs nothing and cannot be bought. It is earned by the sitting.
• At the finale, education awards are decided in person, by people in a room.
• Awards are fixed and funded before entries open. They are never sized from what entries bring in.

Your fee buys the sitting and the report, and nothing else. It does not buy a place at the finale, it cannot be topped up into one, and no payment of any size affects who is invited: the invitation is earned by the sitting or it is not earned at all.

Invitations are decided from the ranked standings within each age band. A sitting held for review, or withdrawn for a reason recorded against it, is not ranked. Awards are education awards, decided by human judges in person on the day, and their decision is final.

The six digits are issued when payment is confirmed, sent to your email and your WhatsApp number, and are valid for 90 days. Treat them as a password: anyone holding them can play your sitting, and we cannot tell them apart from you.

You may stop between challenges and come back on any device. A challenge that has begun is banked as it stood, and a challenge already played is never dealt again, so pausing is safe and cannot become a second attempt. Leaving the page mid-question closes that question: the clock cannot be paused inside a challenge without turning it into a different, easier test.

One code admits one sitting. When the sitting is finished the code still opens the report, which is what it bought.

The questions are generated on our servers and the answers never leave them, so a sitting is scored from what actually happened rather than from anything a browser claims.

We look for patterns that a person does not produce: answers faster than a nerve, response times too even to be human, and hard questions answered no slower than easy ones. A sitting that shows several of these is HELD for a human to look at. Held is not cheating and is not an accusation: it stays out of the standings until somebody reviews it, nothing is deleted, and the report is still yours. If we are wrong, tell us and we will look again.

If you have not started the sitting, write to us and we will refund it in full, no reason needed. Once a sitting has begun, the thing you bought has been delivered, so it is not refundable, except where something on our side went wrong, in which case it is.

If a payment leaves your account and no code arrives, that is our problem to fix, not yours to prove. Write or call and we will either issue the code or return the money.

A player under eighteen is booked by a parent or guardian, who consents on their behalf, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 requires. An adult of eighteen or over may book their own.

We hold the guardian's name, email and phone number, and the player's FIRST NAME and age only. Nothing else about a child is collected, and the report is delivered to the guardian. Standings are published without names.

We never sell or share this data, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking on these pages. Ask us and we will delete an entry and everything attached to it.

We cannot accept entries from Brazil. This is not a judgement about anybody: it is that the law there requires a local legal representative for services children use, and we do not have one yet. When we do, this changes.

• Your fee buys the sitting and the report. It does not buy a prize, a chance at money, or a place in a draw.
• This is not an IQ test, not a diagnosis, and not a school assessment.
• It measures how one mind worked in one half hour, on one day. That is a real thing to know, and it is not the whole of anybody.
• We never sell or share a child's data, and we hold no more of it than the report needs.
