The rules, in plain words
Mind Challenge terms
Short on purpose. These add to our site Terms and Privacy. If anything is unclear, call us before you join.
1. Who can join
- Everyone from age 5, in the band that matches their real age: Little Thinkers (ages 5 to 8), Explorers (ages 9 to 11), Navigators (ages 12 to 15), Sharp Minds (ages 16 and up). Sharp Minds has no upper limit: teens and adults play there together.
- For every player under 18, a parent or guardian must enroll them, provide their own email, and tick the consent box on the form. That ticked box, with its time, is the guardian's recorded consent for the child to take part.
- If you are 18 or older and joining for yourself, enroll with your own details and your own real age; your ticked box is your own agreement to these terms.
- One enrollment per player per season. The band must match the player's real age; a wrong band can be corrected by us, and knowingly playing in a younger band leads to removal from ranking.
2. The fee
- One program fee, paid at joining (Rs 300 for Little Thinkers, Rs 400 for Explorers, Rs 450 for Navigators, Rs 500 for Sharp Minds), covers all 21 days, the leaderboard, the certificate, and the final. It is an access fee to a skill-development program, never a stake or a bet.
- Before you decide, the daily practice page (Train the Brain) and the sample family report are free for everyone, no account needed.
- One-time means one-time: no subscription, no auto-debit, no EMI, no renewal, ever.
- No refund window: the free daily practice is there to try before you pay, so please decide before paying. Once paid, the fee is not refundable. If something goes wrong on our side, call us and we will make it right.
- Fees never buy scores, ranks, or recognition. They buy access, nothing else.
- What the fee funds, plainly: hosting, the design and research of the workouts, the engine and checks that keep scoring fair, your family insights, the medals, certificates and final event, and real support on the phone. Fees never form a prize pool.
3. Fair play
- The enrolled player plays their own rounds. Parents may sit beside, encourage, and cheer; parents may not answer.
- No scripts, bots, automation, or any tool that plays or answers. Our servers generate and score every round and check timing; play that does not look humanly possible is set aside for human review.
- A day suddenly far above a child's own history is reviewed by a person before recognition is granted. Children have breakthrough days; a review is a look, never an automatic punishment.
- Missed days can be caught up while the season runs, for accuracy points only; the speed bonus belongs to the day itself.
- Breaking fair play can mean removal from ranking or from the season. The fee is not refunded when we remove someone for cheating.
4. Recognition, and identity validation for winners
- Recognition is medals, certificates, and scholarships (fee waivers into letsgye programs). Never cash, never vouchers, never anything that works like money.
- Top recognition is decided at a live Showcase Final where the child takes part in person (at the Lab or on a live video call), so the season's recognition is earned by the child, visibly.
- Before any award is handed over, the guardian shows the child's identity document: a school ID or birth certificate is enough. We look, we confirm, we hand it back. We do not photograph, copy, or store identity documents.
- A final performance should look like the season's play. If it clearly does not, or identity cannot be shown, recognition is withheld. That is how we keep it fair for every honest child.
5. Your data
- We keep only what the challenge needs: the player's first name or nickname, age and band, your contact details, and the scores. Sensors (tilt, loudness) work on the device and are never recorded or sent.
- Never sold, never shared with third parties, no ads, no biometrics, no IQ claims.
- The public leaderboard shows a fun nickname unless you choose the real first name.
- Delete everything whenever you ask, including after the season: call or email us and it is gone. See the Privacy page for the full picture.
6. Our commitments, plainly
- We may pause or fix the challenge if something breaks; if we ever cancel a season outright, paid fees for that season are refunded in full.
- If we change these terms mid-season, the change cannot take away anything a family already earned or paid for.
- The challenge is run by SAOFAL Private Limited, Bangarpet, Karnataka; Indian law applies.
- These pages are written in plain words on purpose. If a line here ever conflicts with what the product actually does, tell us; we fix the product or the line, whichever is wrong.
